Piece Of Shit Or Not?- Finding Dory

"Have you seen my Dory?"

Joe's Take-
Welcome back to the deep blue sea! Our friends Marlin, Nemo, and Dory, have been floating out as usual. Suddenly, our amnesia-proned friend has a memory of her childhood with her parents, which sends her on a journey to find them. While the two clown fish accompany her, Dory's suddenly plucked out of the sea by some humans and taken to an aquarium. There she meets some new friends that help her "escoppay". Meanwhile, Marlin and Nemo swim through the vast ocean to find her and run into some old and new friends along the way. Will Dory reunite with her long lost loved ones, as well as gain back some of her memories? Will Marlin have a panic attack that Shark Bait (ooh haha) moves more than two inches away from him? And did Nemo's fish tank friends ever get out of those damn plastic bags? I've been waiting for thirteen long years to find out.

My Prediction- This is a great original idea for the series. Wait a minute! This all sounds very familiar. Ok, I see what they did; They took the first film's plot line and did a freaking role reversal with the sequel. Those clever Pixarians! They have taken their time with developing this one and I see no sign of this being a failure. Finding Dory will not be a Piece Of Whale Poo. Sorry, that was a Shark Tale reference. I had almost forgotten about that low quality Nemo knockoff myself.

Mike's Take -
Pixar returns to their roots. After seeing all these amazing shorts that they've been doing between their film releases, it seems to me that Pixar has upped the ante when it comes to animated films. Yah, they had a couple of "meh" moments - Cars, Cars 2, The Good Dinosaur, but even their mediocre films are almost light years beyond what anyone else is making. Finding Dory is going to be the film that takes them to the next level. From the trailers, the characters and the story line all seem familiar, but the animation, colors and attention to detail are amazing.
This movie isn't going to suck, in fact, it's probably going to be on the top of our list of movies that should win the Oscar for Best Movie. Not A Piece Of Shit.
