Piece Of Shit Or Not?- Warcraft

Is this the right movie? I think so.

Joe's Take-
It doesn't get much simpler than this; Some Hulk-sized Orcs have to join up with Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel, Vikings) and his kingdom of men, to fend off an unstoppable horde of some really mean Orcs who are destroying all in their path. It looks pretty much like The Hobbit films blended with Shrek Forever After. Is that a good thing? You tell me. I've never played the PC games that this is based on. The visuals look decent and the main Orc chick looks hot, even with those giant tusks that could probably bite off my...

My Prediction- I'm not hyped about seeing Warcraft, however it looks like a nice change of pace from the mediocre blockbusters that I've seen so far this season. I'll go out on a limb and say that this isn't going to be a Piece Of Shit. Please don't prove me wrong.

Mike's Take -
To fix Joe's unbelievable disdain and bad life choices when it comes to video games, let me set this story straight.
It's Warcraft, It's Orcs Vs. Humans and it's got Chris Metzen, he's the guy behind all the lore and writing of the Warcraft universe up to and including World Of Warcraft. The Burning Crusade (really the Burning Legion) is coming and their first stop is Draenor. The Burning Legion is a horde of demons led by Sargeras, that's destroying all the universe, world by world and now they've set their sites on Azeroth. The Burning Legion has created a new breed of Orc, by getting certain leaders of the Orc tribes to swear fealty to the Legion and take over the planet. In doing so they create a civil war that destroys everything, unbalancing Draenor, The remaining Orcs that have not joined the Burning Crusade (Legion) seek a new world, a better world. They find this when they enter a portal and end up on Azeroth.
This movie looks good. Not amazing, but really good. Here's hoping it's more like The Force Awakens than Batman V. Superman.
Piece of Shit? I don't think so, but I've been wrong before.
